Franschhoek Country House & Villas, Franschhoek

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, immersed in the atmosphere of the south of France. The rooms were cozy but could get noisy with young families around. The service was outstanding with the staff being incredibly polite, kind, and always ready to assist. The location in Franschhoeck was simply excellent, offering a beautiful garden setting on the outskirts of the town. The dining experience was delightful with a good variety, especially the muesli and cheeses. The complimentary drinks were a pleasant surprise by the pool.

The hotel offers exquisite room designs with superb views of the valley, and being adjacent to the wine tram adds to the fun. The service is top-notch, with accommodating and friendly staff. The location in Franschhoek is beautiful and convenient for exploring wine estates and restaurants, making it a perfect choice for a visit to the South African Wine Country. The dining options are great, though occasionally haphazard, but with a fantastic selection of food.

Upon returning from dinner, we had to switch rooms due to noise but found the rooms comfortable with their own terrace. The communal lounge was initially peaceful but later became lively with young families. The hotel's location is beautiful with gardens, though a bit noisy at times.
